it begs for the vanilla
ice cream that it stood
side-by-side
with in the icebox
but the frozen confection
would not be enough
in which case
why not just
use a simple
lack lustre
ivory bowl
purchased
at ikea during
their clearance
sale?!
the answer
is indeed simple
it requires a cup
or two of root beer
and one thick
straw
and, since
i always have whipped
cream in my refrigerator
a slight dollop
and pour of smuckers
caramel sauce
would make
this dessert
ambrosia
