plumes which embellish
delicate shoulders –
i’d love to feel
feathers caress, as i force
my visage to embrace
the soft tickles which
present themselves
— an effervescent
orange speckles
the cirrostratus.

an aura of spectacular
gold shimmers – a deception
to the eye, one can’t see
where the body ends
and soul commences
to house such
a pure core – it\’s the guests
honour to be present
beside an altruistic
chimera.
Green

a tarnished hallow
appears to permit
our distilled personality
to invent stories
from the days of old
which no individual
would ever want to hear
robert frost nailed it
when he once wrote:
“two roads diverged in a wood, and i—
i took the one less travelled by,
and that has made all the difference.”
which i completely
concur!
Blue

a cloud shade i yearn
for the ultimate tincture
azure, peacock, midnight
baby blue, navy severely
blended to together
but NEVER over mixed.
a perfect blend of stoke
distribution on a solid
treated canvas.
Indigo

the present optics
of the irises which gaze
at the profound depth
of this luscious
image before
me.
Violet

splashed drops
of blue blended
with the red, release
and expose the verity
that lies in the colour
purple.
