Human nature be damned; I claim the dichotomy in me!

 

Question: Are you going to include that you’re 
a people pleaser and how to stop? 

Answer: Yes, smartass, here is my response! 

Each-and-every epic journey 
houses some aspect of the sacred 
possession of an item 
most desire invested human souls. 

Which has been broken down 
into numerous analogies that are steeped
in nothing but endless layers, one that would
put a mille-feuille to endless shame. 

There is the me that is kind and gentle 
who resides in a desired state of being an aid 
to humanity via universal means. That is where
the people pleaser resides, inside of the caregiver.
Who wishes nothing but to serve those I adore,
those are the humans -- I wish to amuse. For each 
one of them I would walk through fire for.

Then the jaded perspective which emerges in a fashion 
of Mr. Hyde, where the darkness ensconces a soul 
that relinquishes all the energy to the void.
 
Where that people pleaser will not tolerate being 
used to the point of submission. It is that chimera 
from the depths which exists in moments of trepidation. 

A definite dichotomy that is worthy of exploration,
and certainly not for everyone. That much has been 
acknowledged, however unequivocally resilient 
for the most part very much misunderstood.
