should it take
to write a poem
that will m.o.v.e.
one to weep?

conceptualised
worrisome agricultural
practises start to destroy
free standing structures
— which aid in the process
of not only maintaining
fresh air — but also
tall beacons
we can tangibly
hold onto in moments
of trepidation

blanketed words
of provocateurs
who cleverly
have managed
to conceal
temperamental
ideologies

grounded
only with the aid
of topsoil to solidly
roots that want
to allow their extended
fingers to bury
themselves deep
into the earth

an architectural
foundation
worthy
of an infinite
