pandemonium

earth waves 
   and chocolate milk rain
 adds to layers of insanity 
    where chaos is afforded 
 to enter in times of trepidation

   if you could cause global chaos
       what would you do? 

   turn leaves to cotton candy puffs 
         transform oceans into rootbeer 
    allow birds to have butterfly wings
          in lieu of feathers 

   if i was lord of chaos and discord 
      i would introduce the element 
           of compassion and resilience 
       as those concepts have been 
         rendered into the flag that twists 
              and knots itself up in the breeze

    there is potential 
       for metamorphosis and evolution
           subterfuge could at times render
               a whimsical journey
