waiting to get paid
for the work
that comes
from a very willingbrain — desperation
falls on silences voices
how to get more readers
— obviously step one would
be to be a fairly decent
writer — who can literally
hold their own no matter
what the situation dictates
— as a poet i strive to craft
each piece to be one of quality
and indeed emotional endurance
i guess if it falls on deaf ears
such is the crux of life
