my favourite
part of the holidays
now that i am a parent
is most certainly
placing decorations on the christmas
tree with my
children
the majority
of the ornaments
are handmade
pieces
which house
memories
from years
past
there is no comparison
there\’s always a circumference
amidst the word reminisce
throughout the holidays
one can rely
on an ornament
no matter
how weathered
not only for aesthetics
but also for a tremendous
story — to entertain
during the tree
trimming
p.s. each year i always
end up eating the bubble gum
candy canes — when no one
is watching… hee… hee…
