sounds silly
to contemplate
nevertheless
the inquisition
is quite genuine
i assure you
senses
reveal imprints
within each one
of the five
touch of scent
touch of sight
touch of sound
touch of smell
touch of touch
at some point
everything will
touch whether
it be air to aroma
noise to auditory
sight to colour
buds that not only
exclusively devour
delicious flavours
but textures
as well
that was my favourite
idiosyncratic characteristic
of jelly tots
once the granular
sugar is sucked
off — all that\’s left
is a whimsical
gooey flavour
not to be saved
for the next
journey
